Zoup! Package Redesign

Zoup! began as a restaurant which has since

been franchised into over 100 locations in the US and Canada.

However, it wasn’t until 2022 that Zoup! expanded into selling their soups in grocery stores, bringing the highest-quality ingredients and everyone’s favorite flavors to the shelves and people’s homes.


The package redesign takes the authentic and nourishing feel of the original jars but with a dynamic and unique twist. This includes an eye-catching color palette and humorous ingredient-related puns to appeal to a younger, trendier, health-conscious demographic.

The Process

Initial research was conducted on the existing brand, including an analysis of direct competitors and target demographics. This was followed by moodboarding and multiple iterations of sketching, each refined through ongoing feedback.


Throughout both the sketching phase and digital design process, particular attention was given to the scale of typography and design elements. This involved extensive mock-ups on jars to evaluate the design in context.


In the final stage of the process, product photography was carried out, as shown above.
